NDA Tier 1 Exam 2023 Date

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the NDA exam on behalf of the Union Government. Candidate’s who are applying for this year’s exams are checking the dates of the exams as they are applying. On 16th April 2023, the NDA Tier-1 Exam will be held as part of the national recruitment process. Candidate enrollment will be in the Army, Navy, and Air Force of the NDA. It is expected that they will be admitted to both the 151st Course and the 113th INAC, which is slated to start on the 2nd of January, 2024.

Application forms had to be completed and submitted by 10 JAN 2023 in order to be considered. There is a time period of 18th January 2023 to 24th January 2023 for those who wish to withdraw their applications. The deadline for withdrawal is 6 pm on the 24th January 2023. NDA examinees will be provided with the e-admit cards three weeks prior to the date of the NDA exam. Candidates will have to download their NDA Tier 1 Exam Admit Card from the UPSC’s official website which is @upsconline.nic.in, available 24 hours a day.

The UPSC has also included instructions on how to fill out the answer sheet for the test in the notification that it has sent out. In order to evaluate the candidates for their intelligence and personality, they will be subjected to a number of tests. SSB Test/Interview will be conducted for a total of 900 marks, and there will be an SSB Test/Interview. Interviews will be conducted with the candidates shortlisted in Tier 1, Stage 1 Exam in April.

NDA Tier I Exam 2023 Scheme, Exam Time and Pattern

In the course of their training at IMA, both males and females appointed as Cadets will receive a starting salary of Rs 56,100/-p.a. as a starting pay of level 10 when they begin their training at IMA. For each of the three services, namely the Army, Navy and the Air Force, the training period will be of three years. When they have gained experience, the salary will be based on the rank at which they are promoted once they have gained experience. In accordance with the rules, they will be entitled to pension gratuity and casualty pensionary awards.

Few Points on How to Prepare for NDA Tier I Exam 2023

Below are some tips and tricks to help you prepare for the NDA 2023 exam, Candidates should follow these preparation tips to score well in the NDA exam.

  • Develop a study plan that you can follow diligently and stick to it.
  • Subjects that are weak should be worked on
  • Mathematical concepts must be clear for candidates. As a result, they need to attempt many questions and revise the concepts repeatedly. Once you have completed the syllabus, you should attempt mock tests, analyze them, and work on your weaknesses. 
  • Grammar rules for English can be found in the book ‘Objective General English’ by SP Bakshi. A great deal of weight is given to vocabulary in the exam. Improve your vocabulary by practicing previous years’ papers.
  • Refer to the NCERT books for Class 10, 11, and 12 for General Science.
  • Read current affairs books and newspapers for GK.
